Kathleen’s Customer Service Excellence Award

Red Deer Village Holiday Park‘s Kathleen McKinney has been awarded with the prestigious BH&HPA Customer Service Excellence award.  These awards were launched so that owners could directly  reward staff with official industry recognition. Furthermore, the awards are open to park staff across the board, not necessary those in direct customer facing roles.

Kathleen has worked at the park for over 18 months and is a now a valued member of our housekeeping team. Kathleen was nominated for the award because of her attitude to her work, colleagues and guests. She always “goes the extra mile” for our guests and greets everyone with a smile. Ashleigh Hendry, Holiday Park Manager, presented Kathleen with the award. Ashleigh said; “Kathleen works hard and always gives 100% to her job. Therefore, this award is well deserved.” John & Ivan Hendry, owners of Red Deer Village, also commented: “ We are pleased that Kathleen has won this award. It is a testament to the dedication of the staff who work here.” Kathleen says she was both very surprised and delighted to receive the Customer Service Excellence award. Red Deer Village Holiday Park is located in Stepps, 5 miles from Glasgow city centre. It has been owned by the Hendry brothers since 2004.
