For Creative Kids

For those of you with budding artists in the family, across Glasgow’s fantastic museums there are a variety of children’s craft-making events going on from the 1st-17th April. At the Riverside Museum, there’s something different to make everyday – from Easter bunny cards and fairground characters, to 3D cardboard sea creatures and air balloons! For a full list of crafty workshops on at the Riverside Museum, Kelvingrove Museum, Kelvinhall, GoMA and more see What’s On Glasgow.

For the kids with a flair for the dramatics, Scottish Youth Theatre are hosting a fantastic Easter Theatre Toolboxes (Monday 3rd – Friday 7th April, 9:30am – 4:30pm). Participants will work with Musicians, Actors, Prop Makers and Make-up Artists to learn theatrical skills which they will share in an informal session at the end of each day.

Take a bike ride down the traffic-free West Loch Lomond Cycle Track, or brave heading out on the chilly Loch water with some watersports like kayaking or water-skiing.

Even if the weather isn’t great, Braehead has a host of fun-filled activities on offer, all-year-round in one place! From tenpin bowling and miniature golf, to a climbing wall and snowsports – there’s something for all those action-lovers. For even more indoor action across Glasgow, try your hand at roller skating – there’s even a special visit from the Easter bunny at sessions during the holidays. Or, head to East Kilbride to work on your trampolining skills!
