On the other side of town in Glasgow’s West End you can find Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens; both of which are perfect for taking in some gorgeous scenery on a relaxing group stroll. If you fancy venturing further afield, Strathclyde Country Park is just a bus journey away and a guaranteed group pleaser. The Lighthouse is located, or should we say hidden, just off the bottom of Buchanan street, Glasgow’s famous high street. Referred to as Scotland’s centre for Design and Architecture, at the Lighthouse you can get access to spectacular views of the city or view the collection of Rennie Mackintosh’s works. If art is your thing, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is another must-see. The museum is currently hosting ‘The Art of Comics” until October 17th which features an impressive comic book collection.
