Visit Scotland‘s new Visitor Information Partner (VIP) iKnow Scotland programme is open to all Quality Assured businesses. And it has been developed “to recognise and support the great effort that business across all sectors undertake to bring Scotland to life. And help our visitors make informed choices to ensure they get the most from their visit”.

Red Deer Village Holiday Park has already shown their dedication to this. For example, providing a wide variety of guest information such as recommendations on local places to visit, dine and shop. A representative from Visit Scotland came to assess the park in September 2017. He enrolled the park  in the accredited iKnow Scotland programme. Therefore, this means that the park has made a commitment to provide local information on a mixture of key topics. Furthermore, businesses that are part of the programme are easily recognised by the ‘iKnow Scotland’ branding displayed.

This new programme improves the many ways visitor information is provided to guests. Free Wi-Fi is available on the park. So that visitors can access online resources such as visitscotland.com for more tourist information. As many tourists now use the internet to plan their trips.
