Red Deer Village Holiday Park, the closest campsite to Glasgow city centre, would like to thank all of our wonderful guests for staying with us in 2024! Our small family run holiday park would not be able to survive without our loyal visitors who come from far and wide to visit the vibrant city of Glasgow and surrounding beauty of Scotland. We are dedicated to ensuring all of our guests have a wonderful stay with us and ensuring they return or recommend us to their friends and family. That’s why this year, we have invested heavily in our accommodation and facilities. This will make 2025 an even better year for our campers and guests! Take a look below at the investment in facilities made over the last year.

Toilet Block Facilities Investment

Our heavily used toilet and shower block facilities needed a lot of love after the busy summer season of camping. We’ve invested around £10k this year into our toilet blocks. Showers and shower heads have been replaced and new boiler, water tank and flooring have been installed. The toilet blocks will be like new! This has made a huge difference to the camping experience, improving temperature, water pressure and availability of our showers. We can’t wait for the 2025 season to show off our upgrades!

Laundrette Facilities Investment

Our on site laundrette facilities are now easier to use than ever before. Contactless card machines have been installed to replace our old token readers. This will eliminate the need to purchase tokens from the office. Instead, you can use our washing machines and tumble dryers whenever you like, simply by tapping your card. Our laundrette is open 24 hours.

Signage

We have installed new signage to help our campers and tourers find where they’re going easier than ever before. Our pitches have been renumbered with new signs also, to avoid any confusion with the grass and hardstanding pitch areas. We still have some upgrades to make with updating signage, but we’re confident this will be in place before the busy season kicks in next year. We hope this will make everyone’s experience run smoother and save anyone getting lost!

Accommodation

Red Deer Village Holiday Park are in the process of upgrading all of our accommodation to keep them looking their best. The upgrade projects to our chalets, holiday homes and static caravans are taking place over the winter months, ready to welcome guests back to the Glasgow holiday park with open arms in 2025.

Pitches

Our grass and hardstanding pitches are being re-levelled with new road chippings. To do this, we’ll need the help of our brand new mini excavator!  The project has already commenced – you can see our new machine already hard at work below.
