The 2025 Jehovah’s Witnesses Special International Convention is due to take place in Glasgow this summer! The event will take place at the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow from 25 – 27 July.

This year, 3000 delegates have been invited from around the world to join the Scottish congregations. This includes countries such as Canada, Hungary, Korea, Poland, Scandinavia, Slovenia, United States of America and Turkey. The convention boasts the beauty of Scotland’s scenery and promotes visiting its’ major cities, including Stirling and Edinburgh, and the Highlands. It also encourages trying some Scottish culture, including dancing in a ceilidh or tasting haggis.

Accommodation for Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention

The 2025 Jehovah’s Witnesses Special International Convention lasts for 3 days, but there is also the benefit of spending 3 additional days before or after with local brothers. Therefore, accommodation will be required for 7 nights near the city of Glasgow. Guests attending the convention and volunteers who will be arriving early have already started booking accommodation at Red Deer Village Holiday Park!

Red Deer Village is only 5 miles from Glasgow city centre and easily accessible to the convention venue by low cost local taxi or Uber. Alternatively, there are local public transport links including bus and train to take you into the city. You can even use our accommodation as a base to explore further afield, with Stirling a 30 minute drive and Edinburgh 1 hour.  We offer pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. We also offer self-catering accommodation, including our static caravans, holiday homes and chalets, sleeping up to 8 people.
