National Museum of Rural Life October Events

The National Museum of Rural Life Scotland, East Kilbride, is hosting a few events this October 2017, with everyone welcome.

The National Museum of Rural Life is a five-star museum, farmhouse and historic working farm, and is only around 20 miles from Red Deer Village Holiday Park. It was opened in 1949, and is run by National Museums Scotland.

First of all, there is their “Go Wild in Autumn” event. This includes den building, storytelling, welly walks and more. This is from the 14th to 22nd October and is free with museum admission.

Secondly, there is their “Halloween” event, where there will be creepy crafts, scary storytelling and spooky surprises. This is on Tuesday 31st October from 17:00 – 19:00, and is also free entry.
