DAWN CHORUS WALK

Saturday 12th May 2018 at RSPB Scotland Baron’s Haugh Nature Reserve

With spring in full swing, the woods at Baron’s Haugh are full of bird song in the early hours. It may seem awfully early for an event. There will also be coffee and croissants for breakfast – what more could you want? The event begins at the reserve car park at the end of Manse Road in Motherwell, ML1 2PZ. Furthermore, the event costs £4 for adults, £2 for children and free to RSPB members. Please book as places are limited. Contact the RSPB warden on 07872 814911 or 0141 331 0993 or by email at baronshaugh@rspb.org.uk . Children under 16 are welcome, but should be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, please wear suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for Scotland’s unpredictable climate and bring binoculars if you have them. Some of this event will involve standing for periods of time so remember to wrap up well. The event is from 6am – 8am.
