Winter Events in the Seven Lochs area:
Seven Lochs Green Gym
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons at various sites across the park
Green Gyms are for volunteers who want to get active and work to protect their local environment. Furthermore, The Green Gym is aimed at volunteers ages 16-24 and those who may have additional support needs. The sessions run from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Natural Lotions and Potions
Saturday 10th February 2018 at Glenboig Life Centre and Provan Hall
Join Anna Canning from Floramedica for a foraging walk to learn about healing plants and their uses past and present. And, you’ll have a go at making a natural skincare remedy as well. So choose either 10:30am to 12:30pm at Provan Hall, Auchinlea Road G34 9NJ, or 2pm to 3pm at Glenboig Life Centre, Main St Glenboig ML5 2RD. Wildlife Wonders: Tracks and Signs
Sunday 11th February 2018 at Drumpellier Country Park
For all you budding nature detectives out there, come along and see if you can find the signs that some of our more elusive creatures leave behind. Furthermore, it will take place at Drumpellier Country Park 1pm to 3:30pm.
But, this event must be booked in advance by contacting the North Lanarkshire Countryside Rangers on 01236 422257.
