Charity News at Red Deer Village Holiday Park
In other news, we are once again delighted to report some fantastic charity news from our Scottish campsite. John and Wendy Cunningham stayed with us on 8 June this year for free in their rented campervan whiled they walked from Lands End to John O’Groates. They finished their walk on 29 June and managed to raise an amazing nearly £21k to split between their two chosen charities – Willen Hospice and St Marks Hospital Foundation. We’re glad we managed to help them along their way, and congratulate them on this massive achievement!
We also welcomed Paul Louden on his 5 day cycling challenge from Lands End to John O’Groates. His journey totalled 925 miles, with 56 hours of active cycling between a Monday and Friday! He managed to raise over £1900 for Rock Trust. Huge congratulations on your hard work and success. To donate to Paul’s cause, you can visit his Just Giving page.
