EV Charging Points in Glasgow

We have 3 electric car charging stations within the grounds of Red Deer Village Holiday Park – two can be found outside of self-catering accommodation and there is another one near the top toilet block. The bays are clearly marked by a white electric vehicle icon painted on the ground. Our charging points can be used by camping, touring, chalet, holiday home and static caravan guests.

How to Use Our Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Our electric vehicle charging stations are managed by Tap Electric. To charge your vehicle, please follow the steps below:

  • On the charging station you’ll find a QR code, which can be scanned using the camera on your mobile device.
  • After scanning the QR code you will be prompted to download the Tap Electric app, where you’ll be directed to the Red Deer Village Holiday Park page. Here you can choose to enter as a guest or create an account. If you plan on using our charging points frequently, we suggest signing up as you will get a discount. Prices are clearly displayed within the app.
  • Connect your car and begin charging. You can ask the app to notify you when your car is full. If all of the charges are in use when you arrive, you can ask the Tap Electric app to notify you when a charge becomes available.

We kindly ask that you move your car once it has finished charging, so that it frees up the space for others.
