Art and Culture
Glasgow has firmly cemented its place in the international arts scene. There is a wide selection of acclaimed arts galleries and museums that attract visitors from all over the world. We highly recommend a visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum during your trip. Children will love the Glasgow Science Centre and the Riverside Museum is not to be missed.
World class productions are held at a number of venues throughout the city, including Kings Theatre and Theatre Royal Glasgow. Every year the SEC Armadillo welcomes some of the biggest names in show business and hosts live music performances for every taste.
Glasgow was crowned the City of Culture in 1990 and the UK’s City of Architecture and Design in 1999. We recommend taking a sightseeing bus trip to admire the beautiful buildings and mural paintings across the city. A visit to Glasgow Cathedral is an absolute must during your stay. Take a guided tour and learn more about its interesting past.
If museums and galleries aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other attractions, that are well worth a visit during your stay at our caravan and camping park.
