Earlier this year, we enlisted the help of a new housekeeping company to manage the cleaning of our facilities at Red Deer Village Holiday Park in Glasgow. The ladies at Sparkle Clean started a couple of months ago and we’re already thoroughly impressed by the service we’ve received. Their hard work certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by our touring and camping guests, who have consistently mentioned the high standards of cleanliness in our toilet blocks in their TripAdvisor reviews. The excellent feedback is testament to their hard word and dedication to maintaining our five star facilities.

We’ve found it increasingly difficult to hire housekeeping staff this year, so we were very grateful when Sparkle Clean stepped in to help. Below, we take a little look at what Sparkle Clean are all about.

Origin Story of Housekeeping with Sparkle Clean

Sparkle Clean was established in the early part of 2022. Two ladies, Karen and Lynsey, run the company, with a few other employees to help in busy periods. Over time, they are aiming to increase this number of staff. Both Karen and Lynsey are hard working mothers, with kids still in school.

Both ladies were working hard in their own jobs and careers. Unexpectedly, the cleaning company Karen was working for decided that house cleans were no longer an area they were going to focus on. This led to a choice; should she find another job, or start her own housekeeping company? She approached her good friend, Lynsey, to ask her to be a partner in their new business. They talked it through and came up with a business plan, starting with nothing other than the support of their family and friends.

Sparkle Clean’s Aims

Sparkle Clean decided they wanted to be different from other cleaning and housekeeping companies. They wanted to stand out from the crowd, and ensure clients feel everything is personal and completed to the highest standards. The ladies listen to, and accommodate the needs of their clients wherever possible. They use a wide range of products and proffesional tools to ensure the successful completion of each task. By treating each clean personally, it allows Sparkle Clean to build good relationships with their clients, as they love a chat!

Over the last few months, Sparkle Clean have been working hard to build a large client base of regular customers and one-off clients. When speaking to the girls, they said:

Sparkle Clean offer a wide range of services including general housekeeping, deep cleans, end of tenancy cleans, or something more specific. They offer their services as a one-off, or scheduled as weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Sparkle Clean are always open to listening to clients and fulfilling their needs.
