Visit Scotland 5 Star Assessment

On 20 September 2016, a Visit Scotland representative came to assess Red Deer Village Holiday Park. This was to see if we could once again reach that Visit Scotland 5 star standard. And we were ecstatic when we achieved this accolade, for the 3rd year in a row! Furthermore, we are delighted to see all our hard work has paid off. Therefore, a huge thank you to all our staff, as we couldn’t have done it without them! The holiday park team have worked hard all year. They maintain the same standards which have been noted and reviewed on Trip Advisor by guests who have stayed on the park this year.

The inspector scrutinised every aspect of the park, viewing all areas. And at the end of his inspection, he announced that Red Deer Village Holiday Park had achieved the required standard to be awarded a Visit Scotland 5 star rating yet again.

Manager’s Words

Ashleigh Hendry, holiday park manager commented, “We are thrilled to be awarded a 5 Star rating for the third year in a row. This is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all of the staff at Red Deer Village. We will continue to provide our guests with a 5 star service and will always look for ways to improve.

Visit Scotland

Visit Scotland is the national tourism organisation for Scotland. Their aim is to improve and advance Scottish tourism and give visitors the best possible experience on their trip. Therefore, it rates holiday parks based on park facilities such as toilets, showers and laundrette. They also judge the park’s general appearance, reception building and accommodation. And they look into the park’s website, ensuring it is up-to-date and provides detailed information on the local area.
