Red Deer Village Supports Charity Walk

John and Wendy Cunningham Charity Walk

Red Deer Village Holiday Park look forward to welcoming John and Wendy Cunningham on 8th June 2024.  The couple are setting out on an epic journey from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise funds for Willen Hospice and St Marks Hospital Foundation. Our 5 star holiday park on the edge of Glasgow have gifted a free pitch for the evening as they make their way through bonnie Scotland. Believed to be the first person in the UK with two stomas to take on this challenge, John, after undergoing extensive and life-saving pelvic exenteration surgery, begins the challenge with his wife, Wendy, on 1st April 2024.  Red Deer Village Holiday Park wish the couple well on their charity walk and can’t wait for their arrival!

John and Wendy Cunningham Charity Walk

John and Wendy will be staying at different campsites throughout the UK as they travel. Volunteers will be driving their camper van each night to the next site as they continue their walk. You can read all about John and Wendy’s story and charity walk and donate to their wonderful cause here.
